If you saw my stories yesterday, you know that a) it's been a minute since I've showed up on this app and that has been for a variety of reasons that I won't really get into now because it's not what is relevant.. and b) that my beloved George had to have emergency surgery on her abdomen on Tuesday night because she got herself into a pickle and ate some things that she shouldn't have... again. . George is my heart dog. She's me as a dog. She has been there for so many milestones with me, and because I wasn't ready to lose her, we did surgery. Swipe if you want to read her story. Make no mistake, if we hadn't done surgery Tuesday night, George wouldn't be here today. I am so insanely lucky to have my cousin and his wife as my vets. They have continually gone over and above for George and she wouldn't be here today if it hadn't been for them, But, just because they’re family doesn't mean that they can afford to do something like this for free, and I would never think of asking for that. So now I have a pretty hefty vet bill to pay - which I want to make clear was 100% my choice and is 100% my responsibility. . As I was trying to figure out how I was going to pay for said surgery (because I don't have that kind of money just hanging around...)
